South Asian Trade Link was established in 2020 by Mr. Bhagawati Budhathoki, the company’s Owner and Chairman, as a ‘single shutter’ 1020 sq. ft. cold store. Since then, Mr. Budhathoki, who gave up a career to dedicate himself to the store, has overseen the company as it has grown from its humble beginnings to becoming a household name in the country. Today, South Asian Trade Link has a combined 3,000 sq. ft. sales area across its 2 locations and employs 40 full-time employees 65 percent of who are women.
Today, South Asian Trade Link is Nepal’s departmental store chain, spread out in Kathmandu the capital city and economic hub and in all major cities around the country. South Asian Trade Link one of Nepal’s most trusted brands and sees a daily footfall of over 100 patrons.
